A series of portraits made for an occasion of a personal exhibition in Treviso, Italy.
The illustrations speack about these people with a clean and minimal style.

Every character has the hands in a different position. These positions are named mudra.
Each mudra has a meaning and a specific consequence to the person.
I selected each mudra thinking to the represented person in order to speack about their personality and their story. A silent story for each of them.

Mudras are not only part of yoga's culture and practice.
They are part of many ancient culture. It has been very interesting knowing that these positions of the hands, and their meaning, are also part of my ancient Italian culture.
